Abstract

This study aimed to develop Project-Based Learning (PjBL) Student Worksheets (LKPD) for teaching lecture-text writing to Grade XI students in Indonesian language classes. The study was motivated by students’ limited lecture-text writing skills and the lack of teaching materials supporting active learning. A Research and Development (R&D) approach was adopted, encompassing needs analysis, product design, development, expert validation, and limited trials. Participants involved subject-matter, language, and media experts, Indonesian language teachers, and Grade XI students. Data were collected using validation and practicality questionnaires and learning-outcome tests. The feasibility assessment yielded a score of 96.66%. Effectiveness testing yielded an N-Gain of 0.71 for the experimental class (high category), compared with 0.25 for the control class (low category). The practicality scores were 98% for teachers and 84.6% for students. These findings suggest that the PjBL-based worksheets are feasible, effective, and practical for teaching lecturetext writing in Grade XI Indonesian language classes.
